WHO WE ARE Prologue The inception of our story began in the mind and heart of a 19-year-old Alfred Yow Song Vooi. He began as an apprentice in a small furniture shop when he came to know about the British Chesterfield sofa. The cradle of the Chesterfield began in Great Britain by the request of the Fourth Earl of Chesterfield, Sir Philip Stanhope.
